Arabambi’s Political Movement Stands Firm with Gov. Makinde, Cites Wadata Expulsion as Symbol of Discipline
The political movement led by Hon. Arabambi in Afijio has reaffirmed its unwavering support for Governor Seyi Makinde, citing the recent Wadata incident as a clear example of the necessity for loyalty, discipline, and democratic principles in politics.
In a public statement, Arabambi’s movement condemned actions by figures such as Nyesom Wike, Ayo Fayose, and Senator Anyanwu, who reportedly acted against party interests despite repeated warnings. The statement emphasized that their expulsion was essential to protect democracy and safeguard political unity.
The notice also issued a caution to other political parties, warning that leaders who destabilize their own parties could pose threats wherever they move. “Leadership is not about noise or ambition; it is about character, loyalty, and respect for the party structure,” the movement said.
Governor Seyi Makinde was celebrated as a symbol of political courage and steadfast loyalty, described as “the last man standing in Nigerian politics,” who has remained committed to the people and the party despite challenges.
Concluding, Hon. Arabambi’s movement assured the public of its commitment to Afijio and Oyo State, affirming: “Discipline and democracy must stand. Party first. People first. Democracy first.”
