Saki East Council Chairman, Councillors and other political functionaries to Face Oyo PDP Disciplinary Panel

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has expressed strong disapproval of the alleged anti-party activities and complacent attitude exhibited b Hon. Adedokun Emmanuel, the Executive Chairman of Saki East Local Government, alongside some members of his administration.
In a report submitted by the State Secretary of the Party, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, and made available to the media by the Acting Publicity Secretary, Mr. Micheal Ogunsina, the Party confirmed receiving numerous complaints regarding the conduct of the Council Chairman and some councillors. These reports indicate a consistent display of lethargy and behavior that undermines the unity and progress of the PDP in Saki East Local Government.

The leadership of the Party views these allegations with utmost seriousness, as any form of anti-party activity threatens the integrity, strength, and cohesion of our great party. In line with the PDP’s commitment to upholding discipline, integrity, and due process, the affected individuals have been summoned to appear before the Party’s Disciplinary Panel for a thorough investigation and necessary actions.
The Disciplinary Panel is mandated to ensure fairness, transparency, and adherence to the PDP’s constitution in addressing these allegations. The Party remains resolute in maintaining discipline among its members and fostering a united front for the growth and success of the PDP across Oyo State.

We reiterate our unwavering commitment to strengthening the party at all levels and ensuring that all members align with the values and objectives of the PDP.

Signed:
Micheal Ogunsina
