Wolekanle at 54: Oyo LG Chairmen Commend Outstanding Public Service

The Forum of Local Government Chairmen in Oyo State has congratulated the Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission, Wolekanle, on the occasion of his 54th birthday, describing him as an exemplary public servant with remarkable leadership qualities.

In a felicitation statement issued on Saturday by the forum chairman, Hon. Sikiru Sanda, and spokesperson, Hon. Ibrahim Akintayo, the forum commended Wolekanle’s contributions to the administration and development of the local government service in the state.
According to the statement, the commission chairman has demonstrated outstanding capacity, experience, and passion in the management of the commission, earning the admiration of stakeholders across the local government system.


The forum also praised his humility, accessibility, and strong relationship with local government workers, noting that his leadership style reflects genuine concern for the welfare of the people.
“Wolekanle is one of the best hands in our Oyo political space and he has consistently demonstrated capacity, loyalty, and service,” the statement read.

The forum further stated that his appointment in the administration of Seyi Makinde was not merely a reward for political support, but a recognition of his competence and dedication to public service.
