Wolekanle’s Appointment as Chief of Staff, a Testament to Loyalty and Dedication” — Oyo LG Chairmen

The Oyo State Local Government Chairmen Forum has congratulated Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, on his appointment as Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde.

The appointment, alongside other appointments approved by the governor, was conveyed in letters signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde, and takes immediate effect.

In a congratulatory message, the forum described Wolekanle’s appointment as a recognition of his loyalty, commitment and dedication to the administration of Governor Makinde.

The local government chairmen expressed confidence in the ability of the new Chief of Staff to discharge his responsibilities effectively, noting that his experience and longstanding commitment to the governor’s vision would be valuable in his new role.

They further expressed optimism that Wolekanle would use the opportunity presented by his appointment to contribute positively to governance and strengthen the delivery of the administration’s development agenda across Oyo State.

The forum wished him success in his new assignment, expressing confidence that he would justify the trust reposed in him by the governor and make meaningful contributions to the continued progress of the state.
