Unity, Peace Key to Progress ~ Egbeda Chairman, Sanda’s Eid-ul-Kabir Message

The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Sanda, has extended warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful across Oyo State, particularly the people of Egbeda LGA, as they join millions worldwide to celebrate this year’s Eid-ul-Kabir.

In a goodwill message, Hon. Sanda emphasized the significance of Eid-ul-Kabir as a period of deep reflection, sacrifice, and devotion. He urged Muslims to emulate Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) virtues by upholding faith, obedience, and compassion in their daily lives.

“As we celebrate this sacred occasion, let us remember the importance of unity, peace, and communal harmony,” Hon. Sanda said. “Eid-ul-Kabir teaches us the power of sacrifice and the blessings that come from obedience to Almighty Allah’s will. I urge all Muslim brothers and sisters to continue being shining examples of discipline, tolerance, and generosity within our communities.”

The Chairman called for continued prayers for peace, progress, and development in Egbeda Local Government, Oyo State, and Nigeria. He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering good governance, improved infrastructure, and people-oriented programs for all residents’ betterment.
