PHOTOS: Wife of Ona-Ara Local Government Chairman Commends Women For Their Unflinching Support Towards Gov Makinde’s Re-election

The wife of the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Alhaji Sanusi Dasola has commended the women folks for their unflinching support towards the reelection of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde.

The chairperson made this known during her investiture and decoration as the Matron of the National Council of Women Society (NCWS) of the Ona Ara Chapter. She noted that the roles of women in the development of society cannot be overemphasized and urged women to continue their roles as mothers and always speaks out to defend their constitutional rights.

Alhaja Sanusi implored them to embrace love and peace for the progress and development of the nation. She however advised the women to improve themselves and participate fully in politics.

In her address, the state president of the National Council of Women Society ( NCWS), Mrs. Oyelade Kikelomo Olufunmilayo stated that the NCWS was established in 1957, which the agenda to see the welfare of all women in all tribes, religions, and ethnic groups, the care and nurture of our children across all ages, including playing roles in their families, which is of great importance.

Mrs. Oyelade used the medium to appreciate the council chairman, Hon. Sanusi Musibau Adesina for his leadership qualities, love for women’s development programs and policies as well as good governance across the length and breadth of the council areas. She prays for more strength, wisdom, blessings, and success and urged women to continue supporting the present administration in the state and local government, under the dynamic Governor, Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde and Hon. Sanusi Musibau Adesina respectively and the women’s society at large.

She then proceeds with the investiture and decorations of Alhaji Sanusi Dasola as Ona Ara Chapter Matron.

Also decorated was the political head of Inukan LCDA, Hon. Kunle Balogun, and their wife, Mrs. Balogun Romoke, the Director of Finance, Mr. Adebunmi Adelowo, Director of Education and Social Services, Alhaja Akande Adenike while the Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Hon. Sanusi Musibau Adesina was decorated as Patron.

Present at the occasion, are all the state executives of the National Council of Women Society, Chief of Staff, Hon. Ayodele Falana, political appointees as well as management staff of the Council.
