Oyo DCoS, Oyekunle Hails Rep. Agboworin’s Impact on Youths, Infrastructure Development
The Deputy Chief of Staff to the Oyo State Governor, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, popularly known as DoN, has lauded the lawmaker representing Ibadan South East/North East Federal Constituency, Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, for his outstanding contributions to youth empowerment and infrastructural development within his constituency.

Speaking during a recent interaction with journalists, Hon. Oyekunle described Agboworin—who also chairs the House of Representatives Committee on Narcotics and Drugs—as a “focused, grassroots-driven leader whose dedication continues to yield tangible results for the people.”

Oyekunle praised the federal lawmaker for consistently prioritizing youth development through various empowerment initiatives, skills acquisition programs, and educational support schemes that have directly impacted hundreds of young constituents.

“Hon. Agboworin is a shining example of the kind of leadership our democracy needs. His unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and community development has brought meaningful change to Ibadan South East/North East,” Oyekunle said.
He also commended the ongoing infrastructural projects facilitated by Agboworin, including road rehabilitation, school renovations, and support for small businesses.

“Beyond his legislative responsibilities, he has leveraged his office to attract federal presence and impactful projects to his constituency. The people are seeing and feeling the dividends of democracy through him,” Oyekunle added.
Oyekunle urged other public office holders, especially representatives at both state and national levels, to emulate Agboworin’s leadership style—one that reflects the values of accessibility, responsiveness, and results.

He further assured that the Oyo State Government, under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde, will continue to support and collaborate with federal lawmakers like Agboworin to accelerate development across the state.
