The Executive Chairman of Egbeda LG/ALGON Chairman, Hon Sanda Sikiru Oyedele Lajuee has rejoiced with Christians in Egbeda LG, Oyo State, and Nigeria in general on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration and also felicitates His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE on his 56th birthday celebration.
According to the council helmsman, “Christmas is a celebration commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ which reminds us of his special being and the memorable sacrifice he made for others to live a sinless life. We must therefore in the spirit of Christmas bring succor in whatever forms to the needy in the society”
He reiterated that everyone should embrace the beauty of Christianity which includes humility, tolerance, self-discipline, and forgiveness as practiced by the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Algon Chairman enjoined all Christians to use the Yuletide season to pray for peace, progress, and unity of Egbeda LG, Oyo State, and Nigeria as a whole.
In the same vein, Hon Sanda has congratulated His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State and Deputy Chairman Nigeria Governor’s Forum, Engr Seyi Makinde FNSE on his 56th birthday celebration, described the governor as an epitome of success whose leadership traits in terms of what governance at the grassroots should be and passion for grassroots development are worthy of emulation.
He prayed further to Almighty God to make the yuletide season bring uncommon favors and abundant blessings into the life of His Excellency and the entire people of Oyo State.
