A former Accountant General of the Federation, AGF, Jonah Ogunniyi Otunla, is dead.
Otunla passed away in the United Kingdom on Monday, June 17, 2024, at the age of 70.
A family source close to the Irawo, ATISBO local government born former accountant general of Oyo, told this to this online newspaper “Otunla died in his sleep. He slept and didn’t wake up. He still opened door for someone at 5 am this morning. And went back to sleep. And didn’t wake up.”
Accused of stealing N21 billion ,Otunla just celebrated his 70th birthday June 12.
