DJAN Oyo State Strengthens Ties with NSCDC to Curb Crime in Entertainment Industry
The Disc Jockeys Association of Nigeria (DJAN) Oyo State chapter today paid a familiarization visit to the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) to solidify their partnership in combating crime and ensuring public safety.
The delegation, led by DJAN Oyo State Chairman, Comrade Okafor Onyinye held extensive discussions with NSCDC officials, focusing on key areas of collaboration.
According to Okafor, “The visit aimed to establish effective means of identifying registered DJAN members, curb impersonation, and eliminate unregistered practitioners.”
NSCDC State Commandant, Commandant Augustine Padonu praised the initiative, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in maintaining public safety.
“We are committed to supporting DJAN Oyo State in their quest for a secure and organized entertainment industry,” he said.
Other discussion points included familiarization with NSCDC’s structural units, swift response mechanisms, smooth working relationships, and timely information dissemination.
This partnership is expected to impact the entertainment industry significantly, ensuring a safer environment for DJAN members and the public.
