ALGON Chairman, Sanda Oyedele Sikiru, Congratulates Makinde on “Governor of the Year Award”

The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government has expressed gladness over the recognition of Oyo state governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde as the Governor of the Year 2023, by the National Leadership Award in Abuja.

Makinde was conferred with the award at the 15th edition of Nigerian Leadership Awards 2023 for his Long and Outstanding Contribution to humanity and public service.

Sanda speaking with journalists in Ibadan said; “Governor Makinde’s Leadership Award as the Governor of the Year was a testament that leadership is earned and we in Oyo state treasure this award of honor as a manifestation of the positive public opinion on the admirable achievements of the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde”

He added “We thank God for endowing the state governor with the ability and passion to perform wonders and the ability to break many feats”

“Indeed, we are indebted to His Excellency as a people. The governor has given face to the faceless, hope-hopeless people and meaning to the future of the people of the State in the last five years. We have been emancipated and properly positioned to control our destiny as a people.

“I therefore on behalf of myself, my family, and the thirty-three local government chairmen in Oyo state applaud His Excellency for this recognition and we can say boldly, that he is worthy of Emulation. Sanda concluded.
