The University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan has reacted with a statement to put the record straight on how Aduke Gold passed on.
Though it was reported In some media that Aduke Gold died of cervical cancer while some said she died during surgery for fibroid .
However UCH management in a statement by Funmilayo Adetuyibi, information & Public Relations Officer said her cause of her death was not disclosed by the hospital management
UCH management however in a statement by Funmilayo Adetuyibi, information & Public Relations Officer said “It is important to state emphatically that Aduke Gold did not undergo any surgery during her time at UCH”
“Aduke Gold was referred to UCH on August 3rd, 2024 and was admitted to the hospital. Sadly, she passed away on August 12th, 2024. ”
It therefore stressed,: “As the leading tertiary healthcare institution in Nigeria, UCH is committed to providing transparent and factual information to the public on this matter and all patient information is kept strictly confidential and not disclosed to the general public
