The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sikiru Sanda, has received two prestigious awards in recognition of his outstanding leadership, commitment to good governance and contributions to grassroots development.
Hon. Sanda was honoured with the **Outstanding Leadership and Governance Award 2026** by the Centre for Community Advocacy and Development, in recognition of his commitment to purposeful leadership, people-oriented administration and community development.
In a similar vein, Ise Ya Media Company conferred on the Egbeda Council Chairman an **Award of Excellence**, acknowledging his dedication to public service, exemplary leadership qualities and contributions to societal advancement.
The twin recognitions underscore the growing commendation of Sanda’s leadership approach, particularly his emphasis on responsive governance, community-focused initiatives and development-driven policies aimed at improving the welfare of residents across Egbeda Local Government.
Since assuming office, the council chairman has continued to pursue initiatives aimed at addressing the needs of the people, strengthening grassroots development and ensuring that the dividends of democracy translate into tangible benefits for residents.
