“It’s The Best We’ve Seen In A Decade” – Alh. Kamorudeen Reacts As APM Leadership Unveils Campaign Council In Lagelu LGA
The Executive Chairman of Lagelu Local Government, Alh. Kamorudeen Mudashiru, has described the newly unveiled Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Campaign Council as one of the most formidable political structures the local government has witnessed in a decade, following its formal unveiling by the party leadership ahead of the 2026 Local Government polls and the 2027 general elections.
Speaking after the unveiling, the Chairman commended the calibre of hands assembled into the Council, describing the team as a rare blend of experience and grassroots strength. “It’s the best we’ve seen in a decade,” he said, adding that the Council reflects the great zeal with which the party is approaching the forthcoming elections.
The Campaign Council, unveiled by the leadership of APM in Lagelu is led by Hon. Jide Adeniran, former Executive Chairman of the Local Government, as Director General, with Alhaji Lanre Lantinwo, former Secretary to the Local Government, serving as his Deputy Director General.
The Campaign Council also parades a full complement of zonal structures, specialized committees covering advisory oversight, finance, mobilization, media and publicity, grassroots mobilisation, security, election management, and the women’s and youth wings, giving the campaign a broad-based outlook that cuts across every segment of the Local Government.
Reacting further, Chairman Kamorudeen noted that the Campaign Council is filled with campaign staffs who possess the tenacity, the grit and the intelligence necessary to take on the tough job, and commended the party leadership for putting together what he described as a thoroughbred team.
The Chairman charged members of the Council to justify the confidence reposed in them by working collectively and diligently towards delivering victory for the Allied Peoples Movement in the forthcoming Local Government and general elections, describing the task ahead as one that requires unity of purpose and total commitment.
