Bolarinwa Takes Youth Mobilisation Drive to Man O’ War as Oyo Command Taps into Adekanmbi’s Youth Agenda
The Director of Youth Mobilisation for the Adekanmbi/Makinde Campaign, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, has intensified his grassroots consultation drive ahead of the 2027 general elections, taking the campaign for greater youth participation and mobilisation to the Man O’ War organisation in Oyo State.
Bolarinwa and members of the youth mobilisation team were received by the leadership of the Man O’ War during a consultative meeting aimed at strengthening collaboration and securing wider support for the gubernatorial ambition of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi under the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
The meeting was attended by the Oyo State Commandant of Man O’ War, Alhaji Yekeen Lukman Olanrewaju; the South-West Regional Commander, ANC Ayoade Adeoye; the PRO/Assistant Man O’ War Commander, Adebiyi Ademiluyi, popularly known as Ijoba, as well as other members of the organisation.
In his remarks, the Oyo State Commandant, Alhaji Yekeen Lukman Olanrewaju, appreciated the Adekanmbi/Makinde youth mobilisation team for reaching out to the organisation, describing the engagement as an opportunity to build stronger understanding and cooperation.
He assured the team of the readiness of the Man O’ War command in Oyo State to support the APM candidate, Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, at the general election, stressing the importance of collective participation in determining the leadership direction of the state.
Also speaking, the South-West Regional Commander, ANC Ayoade Adeoye, commended Bolarinwa for extending the consultation to the Man O’ War and for recognising the importance of engaging youth-oriented and community-based organisations.
Adeoye expressed confidence in the choice of Adekanmbi as the APM gubernatorial candidate and gave an assurance of support for the campaign, noting that sustained engagement with relevant stakeholders would help deepen the mobilisation ahead of the 2027 election.
In his remarks, the Director of Youth Mobilisation, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Man O’ War for receiving the team with open arms and for the assurances of support extended to the Adekanmbi/Makinde campaign.
Bolarinwa said the decision of the Man O’ War leadership to identify with Adekanmbi and the APM demonstrated that the organisation had made the right choice by supporting candidates capable of providing inclusive and responsive leadership.
He assured the Man O’ War leadership and other youth-oriented organisations that the Adekanmbi/Makinde campaign would promote inclusivity and ensure that relevant parastatals and stakeholders are carried along in the administration’s development agenda.
According to him, the ongoing consultations are part of a broader strategy to take the youth mobilisation campaign beyond political structures and into established organisations, professional groups, community associations and other platforms with strong grassroots presence.
Bolarinwa maintained that the growing support from youth groups and organised bodies was an indication that the Adekanmbi/Makinde campaign was steadily building a broad-based movement ahead of 2027.
He further assured the Man O’ War leadership that their decision to support the APM candidate would be respected and reciprocated through meaningful engagement and inclusivity in the political and governance process.
