2027: Director Youth Mobilisation, Bolarinwa Kazeem, Meets Oyo Speaker Ogundoyin, Begins Strategic Engagement
The Director of Youth Mobilisation for the 2027 Governorship and Presidential Elections of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Oyo State, Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa, has commenced strategic engagements with key stakeholders as part of efforts to mobilise youths ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Bolarinwa paid a courtesy visit to the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, at his office in the State House of Assembly, Ibadan, where both leaders held extensive discussions on youth participation, political mobilisation and the need for greater inclusion of young people in the electoral process.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the APM Youth Mobilisation Director-General to exchange ideas with the Speaker on strategies for effectively engaging and mobilising youths across Oyo State ahead of the 2027 governorship and presidential elections.
Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin congratulated Hon. Bolarinwa on his appointment, describing his emergence as a fitting choice in view of his experience, understanding of youth issues and demonstrated capacity in political and grassroots mobilisation.
The Speaker noted that Hon. Bolarinwa’s previous experience as Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Youth and Sports had further equipped him for the new responsibility, describing him as a “round peg in a round hole.”
He expressed confidence in Bolarinwa’s ability to deliver on the mandate entrusted to him, stressing that his youthful energy, experience and understanding of grassroots politics would be valuable to the mobilisation effort ahead of the 2027 elections.
Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin also pledged his support and cooperation to the APM Youth Mobilisation Director-General, assuring him of his willingness to work with him towards achieving the objectives of the mobilisation assignment.
In his response, Hon. Bolarinwa appreciated the Speaker for the warm reception and support, stressing the importance of strategic engagement, collaboration and meaningful youth participation in shaping the political future of Oyo State.
The meeting forms part of his ongoing consultations and stakeholder engagements as he begins preparations to coordinate youth mobilisation across the state ahead of the 2027 governorship and presidential elections.
