Why I Rebranded Ona-Ara LG Party Bus — Dr. OTOPE

In a demonstration of loyalty, maintenance culture, and renewed commitment to grassroots visibility, Hon. Chief Dr. Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as Dr. OTOPE, has explained why he rebranded the Ona-Ara Local Government Party Bus.

Speaking on the new development, Dr. OTOPE said the decision was driven by love and purpose, noting that the bus—one of the first of its kind provided by Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde—deserved proper care and attention.

“The buses were first of their kind provided by His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, and they must be maintained. The colour had worn out, and our party also needs more publicity,” Dr. OTOPE stated.

He added that the new design was not just about appearance but about promoting unity and pride among members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ona-Ara Local Government.

“As our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), prepares for the forthcoming National congress, it is important we rebrand all our party buses to reflect our unity and readiness. I urge other Local Governments to follow suit in the spirit of loyalty, maintenance culture, and continuity under the leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde,” Dr. OTOPE added.

Describing the initiative as a symbol of progress and continuity, Dr. OTOPE said the facelift reflects the enduring mission of the party to keep engaging positively with the people.

“It’s a new look with the same mission — bringing smiles, unity, and pride to the good people of Ona-Ara,” he concluded.

The rebranded bus now stands as a moving emblem of the PDP’s grassroots connection and the shared vision of progress championed by Governor Seyi Makinde and his loyal supporters.
