“Tormented, Neglected, and Uncompensated”: Voices of the Decampees

Speaking passionately on behalf of the massive wave of decampees, Baba Lamidi and Madam Sally bared their minds regarding their cumulative years of frustration within their former party.

They detailed how members of the group had been profoundly tormented, neglected, and left uncompensated within the All Progressives Congress (APC) despite sacrificing their time, resources, and tireless energy to ensure the party’s victory in past general elections.

According to Baba Lamidi and Madam Sally, years of loyalty were met with internal marginalization, leaving them with no choice but to seek a progressive, inclusive political home where grassroots efforts are genuinely valued and rewarded.

Rather than leaving politics entirely, the APC New Vision Group chose a path of collective realignment, self mobilizing across all wards in Ibarapa East LG to pitch their tents fully with the APM.

The leadership of the group declared total readiness to deploy their extensive grassroots structure, experience, and voter mobilization machinery to ensure a landslide, sweeping victory for all APM candidates in the coming polls.

Political analysts view this major defection as a severe blow to the opposition in Ibarapa East, further consolidating the APM’s growing status as a dominant grassroots movement in the region.
