0 112

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State has uncovered plans by the Opposition Party in Oyo State, the APC to rig and manipulate the Governorship and the State Hose of Assembly Election coming up on Saturday 18th of March 2023. This is so because the APC in the State has come to terms with the stark reality that they can never win any election against Engr. Seyi Makinde in a free and fair contest because of the enormity of the love which the Oyo State residents have for the incumbent Governor.

In a Press release jointly signed by the State Party Chairman, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro and the State Secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, they claimed that the PDP has discovered the hatchet plan of the APC in the connivance with some supposed elders and some unscrupulous elements within INEC in the state to come up with fake results and orchestrate violence and disruptions to subvert the will of the good people of Oyo State.

Sarumi

The PDP therefore warned that it will not fold its arms and allow these unpatriotic elements turn Oyo State which had hitherto been peaceful into theatre of war in their characteristics manner because the good people of Oyo State will resist vehemently any attempt to derail the electoral process because their votes must count.

The Party further call on President Muhammad Buhari, the INEC Chairman and all heads of security agencies to beam their special search light on Oyo State and call to order all those officials involved with the electoral process to stay clear of any illegal action and ensure that everything is done in line with the extant laws and INEC regulations because everybody is watching and ready to protect their votes

Monumental Legacy

The PDP therefore makes it unequivocally clear that the Party stands for equity, fairness and justice and supports transparency which berths free, fair and credible elections
