Six Years of Strategic Leadership: Oyo Governor, Seyi Makinde Ticks All Boxes, Says GSM Advocates
As Governor Seyi Makinde marks his sixth year in office, the GSM Advocates, a group known for its insightful analysis of governance and leadership, has commended the governor for his strategic approach to leadership. According to the group, Governor Makinde has successfully ticked all the boxes in his quest to transform Oyo State.
In a statement released today by the deputy director, Bashorun Saintabey, the GSM Advocates highlighted Governor Makinde’s achievements across various sectors, including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, agriculture, and social welfare. The group noted that the governor’s administration has demonstrated a clear vision and commitment to delivering dividends of democracy to the people of Oyo State.
“Governor Seyi Makinde’s six years in office has been marked by significant milestones that underscore his strategic leadership,” the statement read. “From the development of critical infrastructure to the implementation of innovative programmes in education and healthcare, the governor has shown a deep understanding of the needs of his people and a commitment to addressing them.”
The GSM Advocates particularly praised Governor Makinde’s efforts in promoting inclusivity and social welfare, citing initiatives aimed at empowering vulnerable populations, including women, youth, and the elderly. The group also commended the governor’s administration for its transparency and accountability, noting that these values have been instrumental in fostering trust and confidence in the government.
