Sheriff Adesina (Omo Sheu) Parts Ways with PDP, Reaffirms Commitment to People-Centred Leadership

After deep consultations and careful reflection, I have decided to resign from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) through a letter dated May 8, 2026, addressed to my Ward 10 Chairman, Hon. Tunmise Paul Oyewole.

This decision was not made out of anger, but from a strong belief that the journey toward service, growth, and success for my people can be achieved through any political platform driven by sincerity, vision, courage, and genuine love for the masses.
My commitment has always been to the people first. Politics should be about impact, development, empowerment, and standing for the welfare of the community — not just party loyalty without progress.

Despite the disappointments, resistance, and lack of support from some quarters where it was least expected, I remain focused, determined, and committed to the progress of our people. No political obstacle can stop a mission built on service and the love of humanity.
I sincerely appreciate everyone who has stood firmly with me throughout this journey. Your loyalty, encouragement, and belief in me will never be forgotten.

This is not the end of a movement, but the beginning of a new chapter toward a better future for our people.
