In a renewed commitment to grassroots development and educational advancement, the Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, has once again demonstrated purposeful leadership through impactful interventions in the education sector.
The Council Boss presented the sum of (#2,000.000) two million naira cheque to the Awaye Community Development Association as part of an education intervention and community development support initiative. The financial support is aimed at strengthening educational infrastructure, promoting academic excellence, and fostering sustainable development within the Awaye community.
In the same vein, Hon. Sanda Sikiru extended further support to TESCOM Zone 3, reinforcing his administration’s unwavering dedication to improving teaching and learning standards across the local government. The council boss donated a laptop and a generator set to the zone to enhance administrative efficiency, support digital documentation, and ensure uninterrupted workflow despite power challenges.
Speaking during the presentation, Hon. Sanda reiterated that education remains a top priority of his administration, stressing that meaningful development begins with deliberate investment in human capital.
