Hon. Sanda has congratulated Pastor Akin Alamu, Mr. Elijah Kolawole Akanmu and Mr. Ibrahim Abayomi on their appointments into various positions by the Oyo State Governor, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde.
Friday, September 25, 2026, The Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde announced the appointment of Pastor Akin Alamu, immediate past Chairman of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) and former member of the Oyo State Advisory Council, as a member of the Oyo State Elders’ Council, Elijah Kolawole Akanmu as Special Adviser on Housing and a member of the Board of the Oyo State Housing Corporation, while Ibrahim Abayomi as Executive Assistant on Works.
In a congratulatory message made available newsmen, the Executive Chairman, Egbeda local government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele described the appointments as a further demonstration of Governor Makinde’s confidence in the capacity and experience of the appointees to contribute meaningfully to the development of Oyo State.
He congratulated the appointees, describing thier appointments as an opportunity to continue bringing their wealth of experience, wisdom and service to the development of the state.
the council boss charges the appointees to justify the confidence reposed in them by the governor by embracing the responsibilities of their offices with diligence, humility, dedication and a strong sense of public service, while prayed that God would grant all the newly appointed officials wisdom, strength and the right leadership disposition to excel in their respective assignments and contribute to the continued development of Oyo State.
