Ramadan: Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DON) Greets Muslims, Urge Them to Support Makinde’s Administration With Prayers, Positive Attitude

The Deputy chief of staff to governor Seyi Makinde, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DON) has urged the Muslim faithful in the holy month of Ramadan to, at all times, in their private times support the administration of his excellency governor seyi Makinde with prayers.

Oyekunle in a statement signed by his media aide Bodija Akinwale urged the Muslims in the state to support the state government with numerous prayers and abide by the spiritual laws that guide in the holy month.

He added that the month of Ramadan symbolizes almighty Allah’s way of teaching humanity the attitude of living a virtuous life, where people keep away from all forms of impurities and experience denial of several forms of comfort to appreciate what the less privileged experience as they suffer deprivation.

“While our Muslim brothers and sisters seek to stay away from activities that are injurious to our health, our state, and our fellow human beings and seek to live a holy life during the fasting period, aside an extending a helping hand to the needy we should make this period a solemn and reflecting moments to keep ourselves holy,” Oyekunle concludes.
