Ramadan 1445: Ido Council Chairman, Adeojo Distributes Cash Gifts Across Wards
The executive chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has extended a hand of fellowship to the leadership of the People Democratic Party in the council area in preparation for the Holy month of Ramadan.
The council chairman distributed 1 million naira to all the 10 wards in the council area at one million naira per ward while 200 hundred thousand nairas each was given to all ward leaders and the same amount to all party arrowheads in the council area as his windows might for the commencement of Ramadan.
The chairman while making the cash gift distribution to the party leadership in the local government hall said the Almighty Allah enjoyed charity in the month of Ramadan more than any other month as the reward will be paid back in the manifold.
Hon. Sheriff Adeojo used the forum to call on all well-meaning people in the society to seize the opportunity of Ramadan to put smiles on the faces of the Muslim faithful during this economic meltdown.
While appreciating the council chairman for his uncommon gestures on behalf of the beneficiaries, the People Democratic Party chairman in Ido local government, Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola said he was not surprised by Hon. Sheriff Adeojo’s philanthropist gestures as it is inherited from Seriki Adeen of Oyo state.
He concluded by admonishing the beneficiaries and other party leaders to rally around Haroundheriff Adeojo always.
