Hon. Olalekan Atilola Olacash, a renowned socialite, philanthropist and politician, was given a royal and heroic welcome by the people of Ward 7, Ibadan North Local Government. The event, which took place today, was attended by dignitaries, political functionaries, appointees, party leaders, and supporters from across the constituency.

Hon. Olacash, an aspirant in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the Oyo state house of assembly in 2023 was warmly received in ward 7 by the party executives and ward leaders as he officially joined the ward. The Chairman of the ward, Comrade Tope Akerele, praised Hon. Olacash for his philanthropic gestures and political acumen, stating that his addition to the ward was a privilege.

The Ibadan North PDP Vice Chairman, Comrade Mustapha welcomed all and sundry to the monumental event while the PDP Women Leader in Ibadan North Local Government, also an S.A to Gov. Seyi Makinde, Hon. Julian Nwachukwu, commended Hon. Olacash for his dedication to the party and his community. She expressed her pride in his achievements and welcomed him to the ward, stating that his ambition was a “done deal”.

In his response, Hon. Olacash thanked God for the opportunity to serve and acknowledged the mentorship of Governor Seyi Makinde, whose leadership has inspired a new generation of politicians. He assured the party faithful that his presence in the ward would be for the welfare of all members and the community at large.
