The LGRhythms Foundation hosted its annual charity walk, “Walk Against Drug Abuse and Addiction,” on Saturday, June 22, 2024. The event aimed to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and addiction, promoting a healthier, drug-free community.
The walk began at 9 AM under the Mokola Roundabout Bridge, with participants marching through Sabo and the Adamasingba Sports Complex before concluding the NDLEA Office in GRA. Notable attendees included , and The event also saw participation from 25 NDLEA team members, Lions Club representatives, and NYSC members.
At the Adamasingba Sports Complex, the NDLEA PRO addressed the youths, emphasizing the dangers of drug abuse and addiction in sports. The group then proceeded to the NDLEA office for a gift presentation ceremony, donating essential items to facility inmates. The charity walk concluded with photo sessions, indoor games, and entertainment, fostering a sense of unity and celebration among participants.
