Former lawmaker representing Ibadan North 1 and Deputy Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, Hon Folajimi Oyekunle has promised his support to the proposed cathedral project by Celestial Church of Christ, Ileri Oluwa Parish, Elewi Odo, TokoTaya, Ibadan.

The promise came while receiving the delegates of the church in his secretariat office, governor’s office, Ibadan on Monday 25, 2024.

Oyekunle appreciated the church for its continued spiritual support, from when he used to be a lawmaker until he was appointed by Governor Seyi Makinde, in his second term as Deputy Chief of Staff, despite numerous candidates for the huge position.

The deputy chief of staff called the church leadership to prioritize training its youths towards fear of God, self-reliance, and selflessness all of which will bring positive growth and development to the church of God and the country, at large.

Hon. Oyekunle, while advising the youths, enjoined the church never to depart from the precepts of the foremost founder & Pastor of the Celestial Church Of Christ Worldwide, the Late Pastor Samuel Bilewu Oshoffa(SBJ), including unity, and sincere love, which from primitive times until now distinguishes the church from others all over the world.

Meanwhile, the deputy chief of staff promised his sophisticated support towards the cathedral building project and called the church to continue praying for political leaders in the country for a due positive change.

In his remarks, the leader of the delegates and as well shepherd of the Celestial Church of Christ, Ileri Oluwa Se Parish, Elewi Odo, TokoTaya, Sup/Evang/ Olawale Oladele appreciated the warm reception of the Deputy Chief of Staff, promised to maintain doctrines of Late Pastor, SBJ Oshoffa.

While presenting the proposed church’s CANTATA & N75 Million Fund Raising For Church Project invitation to the Deputy Chief of Staff, charged every political leader to remember their respective religious place when in office, both humanly and non-humanly for due development.
