PDP Chieftain Otunba Oluseye Opatoki Pays Condolence Visits to Families of Late Chief Omololu Olunloyo and Chief Yekini Adeojo

A prominent chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Otunba Oluseye Opatoki, paid heartfelt condolence visits to the families of two respected elder statesmen and illustrious sons of Oyo State — the late former Governor, Chief Omololu Olunloyo, and the late political icon, Chief Yekini Adeojo.

Otunba Opatoki, during his visits to their respective family homes, described both departed leaders as towering figures and icons who contributed immensely to the development of Oyo State and, by extension, Nigeria.

According to him, the legacies left behind by Pa Olunloyo and Baba Adeojo remain a strong testament to their selfless service, intellectual depth, and unwavering commitment to the socio-political growth of the state and the country at large.
While commiserating with the families, Otunba Opatoki urged them to continue to uphold and build upon the remarkable legacy laid down by their patriarchs. He encouraged the younger generations to take pride in the values of discipline, integrity, and service that these great men stood for throughout their lives.
“Though we mourn their passing, we must also celebrate their lives, lives that were lived with purpose and immense impact. Pa Adeojo and Baba Olunloyo lived exemplary lives. Their footprints are indelible in the sands of time,” Opatoki stated.
He prayed for God’s comfort for the grieving families and asked that the Almighty grant them the fortitude to bear the loss, noting that their passing should be seen not with sorrow, but with gratitude for lives well spent.
The visits, marked by solemnity and respect, were received with appreciation by the families of the late statesmen, who acknowledged Otunba Opatoki’s words of encouragement and prayers during this period of reflection and remembrance.
