Oyo Govt Warns Public of Land Scam, Urges Verification
The Oyo State Ministry of Lands, Housing & Urban Development has issued a warning to the public regarding a land scam involving the alleged sale of 550 square meters of land at Baywood Estate, Agodi GRA. The ministry has denied any involvement in the sale, stating that the claims being circulated are false and should be disregarded.

According to the ministry, there has been no approval or endorsement for the sale of the land, and the public is advised to verify all property-related claims through official government channels to avoid falling victim to fraud.

The Honorable Commissioner, Hon. Akin-Funmilayo Williams, has urged the public to be cautious and contact the ministry directly for accurate and verified information.
