Oyo Govt Meets Housing Developers, Assure Speedy Completion of Ongoing Housing Projects In Oyo

As part of efforts to synergize, hasten, and actualize unfinished projects in the state, the Oyo State Commissioner for Lands, Housing, and Urban Development, Hon. Akin Funmilayo Williams, and Directors of the state Ministry of Lands, on Wednesday, met with stakeholders and Real Estate Developers.

The stakeholders, during the meeting, were called upon to ensure speedy delivery of the d housing projects apportioned to them.

The Lands helmsman noted that the meeting, which was aimed at reviewing the stages of work on various sites, would resolve some hiccups and fast-track the timely completion of the GRA projects.

According to him, the Omituntun 2.0 sustainable agenda of Governor Seyi Makinde prioritizes Housing and Urban Development to the benefit of the people in the state and must get value for whatever they are expending money on.

Monumental Legacy

Speaking further, the commissioner added that on-site inspections will be intensified while the sitting agreed to meet every quarter.

In their separate responses, the developers appreciated the state government’s gesture towards strengthening further ties and assured that some of the ongoing projects including Alao Akala GRA, ACEDEM GRA Iwo Road, Sen. Rasheed Ladoja Estate, Abiola Ajimobi GRA Sogunro, among others, will be completed before the end of next year.
