The Oyo first Lady ,Engr Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde has astonished Oyo residents on Sunday during her presence at the official Launching of Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Interstate Service and PTSEXPRESS a logistic arm of PTS
The event held in a grand ceremony on December 15th at the Pacesetter Transport Service office in Eleyele, Ibadan marks a significant progress of the Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services under the chairmanship and sole administrator of Dr Dikko Salami.
The event which was specially graced by the Oyo State First Lady, Engr. (Mrs.) Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde set the residents agog with the soft words and encouragement made by the first lady.
Speaking during the event,the Chairman and Sole administrator of Pacesetter Transport Service, Dr. Dikko highlighted the transport service’s achievements since his assumption of office. He noted that the service has gained speedy momentum from its initial stage , with 101 buses currently in operation, adding that the great achievements are made possible through Governor Seyi Makinde ‘s full support.
Dikko also announced that the interstate service has commenced with 12 buses, with plans to deploy the remaining buses received from the Federal Government after a test run.He explained that the picking points for the new service are PTS Eleyele, Ibadan, and Ojota and Ikeja in Lagos, with departures at 7am, 10am, 1pm, and 4pm concurrently.
In her remarks, the Oyo State First Lady, Engr. (Mrs.) Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde after launching the PTS Interstate Services and PTSEXPRESS , was impressed by the initiatives and commended the PTS transport service for incorporating ICT technologies, including trackers and cameras into their buses. She said, “This makes the transport service safer, cheaper, more conducive, comfortable, and affordable.”
Speaking to Eagles’s Sights on the benefits of the Interstate Services and PTSEXPRESS, Dikko emphasized that the new service will make traveling more comfortable and affordable for residents of Oyo State. “The PTS Interstate Services and PTS Express will make traveling more comfortable and affordable for residents of Oyo State. They will also be able to deliver packages,goods and other items to friends and loved ones with ease,” he said.
The launch of the interstate transport service is a significant milestone for the Pacesetter Transport Service, which has been providing reliable and affordable transportation services to residents of Oyo State.
