Oyo CSDA Commissions, Hands-over Block of 3 Classrooms, Motorised Borehole to Oloro-olomo Community in Ido
The Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA ) on Tuesday commissioned a block of three (3) classrooms in Otitoloju Community Primary School, Oloro-Olomo Community, Apete, Ido local local government area, Ibadan, Oyo state.
OYO CSDA with the responsibility of implementing the World Bank Assisted Community and Social Development Project (CSDP) at the grass-root level,
built and furnished the 3 blocks of classrooms through the supervision of the Oloro-Olomo Community
Development project committee.

on education also included the drilling of Motorized Borehole.
The school headmistress of Otitoloju Community Primary School, Mrs Adedoyin Folasade Easter appreciated the executive governor of Oyo state, Governor Seyi Makinde for the kind gesture, said the provision of new building and facilities for the school will go a long way to aid the teaching and learning of the pupils of the school.
Mrs Adedoyin thereafter appealed to Governor Makinde to consider building more classrooms and providing more teachers for the schools for quality teaching and learning, she claimed that the academic development of the pupils had been hampered due to a lack of proper and adequate learning facilities.
While speaking during commissioning, Mr. Salau Jelil, the general manager, of Oyo CSDA, acknowledged the unrelenting efforts of the state government in improving access to services for Human Development.

He also urged the school management, community stakeholders, and committee that oversees the construction of the classrooms and water projects to develop a sustainable strategy for the maintenance of the erected projects in the areas.
The president of the Oloro-Olomo Community, Chief Odesola Babatunde Sulaimon thanked the Oyo state government under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde for the assistance given to the community on education, said the people of the community will make use of the facility and guard it so it will serve the purpose it is meant for.
The project facilitator, Elder Oladele thanked the state government, Ido local government executive chairman, Sheriff Adeojo, Oyo CSDA for the promises fulfilled and the trust put in the community to supervise the projects, stressed that an investment in education is securing a better future for not only the benefiting individuals but for the state, country at large.
He further assured that the classrooms and facility will be put into effective use so that it will help train viable youths that will become society leaders in the future.
Present at the commissioning were, Baale Olomoland, Chief, Muniru Jejelayegba, Balogunoogun of Olomoland Chief Adelodun Kazeem, Asipa Olomoland, Oloye Akinola Olumide, Ido local government Ward 6 council and others.
