Oyo ALGON Chair, Sanda Commissions Classroom Blocks, Boreholes In Egbeda
The executive chairman of Egbeda local government, Hon Sakiru Sanda on Friday commissioned a Block of 3 classrooms and staff offices at bishop Phillips Academy with students Tables, Chairs, and Motorized boreholes at Apete community Ibadan.
The project is a World Bank assisted, under
COVID-19 action recovery and economic stimulus program.
Hon. Sanda who facilitated the project to his local government through the Oyo state government said he made the effort to improve learning and teaching facilities in his council area, and also as an alumnus of bishop philips’s academy.
Adding that a conducive environment was paramount in bringing up future generations that would impact positively on society.
” The youths are our future and for them to be innovative leaders, transformative leaders of the future, they need to learn, and to learn, you need a good environment.
” I am happy i can facilitate a kind of project like this to one of the secondary schools in Egbeda local government, as an executive chairman of the council, I will continue to build a thriving community by improving the living environment and believe by this project, the children will learn better in a more conducive environment,” Sanda said.
In attendance during the commissioning were Mrs. Sherifat Abimbola—the Tutor General, Tescom Zone 3, Mr. Oluyemisi Samuel, School Principal, Dr. Oladosu Tajudeen 1974 set with the other old students.
Others are the Leader of the Legislative House with other councilors, the supervisory councilors, the Director of Education, Egbeda Local government, the community people, and the school parent and guardian of the Bishop Phillips Academy, it was an epoch occasion
