OYHA Deputy Majority Leader Babalola Hails Governor Makinde, PDP Leadership Over New Secretariat

The Deputy Majority Leader of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Sunkanmi Babalola, representing the Egbeda State Constituency, has commended the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde, and the national working committees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the successful commissioning of the party’s new State Secretariat.

In his statement, Hon. Babalola described the milestone as a significant achievement that would foster greater unity within the party and strengthen its operations at both the state and national levels.

He emphasized his deep appreciation for Governor Makinde’s leadership, noting the Governor’s unwavering dedication to the progress of Oyo State and the PDP. According to Babalola, the Secretariat stands as a symbol of the party’s commitment to cohesion, purposeful leadership, and the continuous development of democratic governance in the state.

“I wish to congratulate the Governor and all the PDP leaders for this remarkable accomplishment. Their efforts in consolidating party structures and promoting unity are commendable. This Secretariat is more than a building—it is a rallying point for all party members and a testament to our shared vision for a stronger, more organized PDP,” Babalola said.

He further assured that he would continue to support the Governor and party leadership in advancing the ideals of democracy, good governance, and progress for the people of Oyo State.
