Oyekunle Hails Makinde on Delivery of Surveillance Aircraft, Congratulates Newly Appointed Oyo APM Campaign Council Executives

The member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DoN), has commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the delivery of two surveillance aircraft acquired to strengthen the state’s security architecture.

In a press statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the federal lawmaker, Wale Bodija, Hon. Oyekunle described the development as a proactive investment that demonstrates Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property across Oyo State.

He noted that the newly delivered surveillance aircraft would enhance intelligence gathering, improve prompt reaction to security threats, and guarantee swift responses by security agencies, thereby reinforcing the state’s security network.

Hon. Oyekunle stated that the strategic investment would further complement the efforts of security agencies in tackling criminal activities and sustaining the peaceful atmosphere required for development.

The federal lawmaker also congratulated all the newly appointed executives of the Oyo State Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Campaign Council, describing their appointments as well deserved and a recognition of their commitment to the party and the collective vision of building a stronger Oyo State.

He urged the appointees to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, unity, and a sense of purpose, expressing confidence that their contributions would further strengthen the party’s structure and deepen its collaboration in advancing the development of Oyo State.
