Otunba Oluseye Opatoki, a prominent political figure, in Oyo State has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Chief Yekini Adeojo, describing him as a respected leader and a great mentor whose influence extended far beyond Oyo State. In his heartfelt tribute, Otunba Opatoki conveyed his condolences to the Adeojo family during this difficult time.

“Chief Yekini Adeojo was a beacon of wisdom and strength. His passing has created a significant void in the political and social fabric of our community,” Otunba Opatoki said. He acknowledged the late Chief Adeojo’s pivotal role in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), particularly in shaping the party’s direction and contributing to its successes.

As a former Deputy National Vice Chairman (South) of the PDP, Chief Adeojo was an instrumental figure in the development of both Oyo State and the national political landscape. His legacy as a foundational member of the party will continue to inspire future leaders, Otunba Opatoki remarked.

He also prayed for the repose of Chief Adeojo’s soul, asking Allah to grant him Aljana Fida’u. Otunba Opatoki expressed his heartfelt sympathy to the Adeojo family, praying that they find the strength to endure the loss of their patriarch.
