OTOPE Salutes Oyo Commissioner, Akin‑Funmilayo Williams, Lauds Him as a Visionary Public Servant on His Birthday

Governor Seyi Makinde’s consensus candidate for Egbeda-OnaAra Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji, popularly known as OTOPE, has extended warm birthday wishes to the Honourable Commissioner for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Mr. Williams Akin‑Funmilayo, describing him as a visionary and assiduous public servant.

In a statement released on Sunday by his Media Aide, Mr. Segun Akinlabi, OTOPE praised Hon. Akin‑Funmilayo, an illustrious son of Egbeda Local Government, for his outstanding dedication to the development of Oyo State under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.
“Hon. Akin‑Funmilayo’s unwavering commitment to transforming the physical infrastructure of our dear state through strategic leadership in the Lands, Housing, and Urban Development ministry is commendable. He exemplifies loyalty, diligence, and excellence in public service,” the statement read.

OTOPE, who also serves as the President of the OTOPE Foundation, noted that the Commissioner’s leadership style continues to inspire many within and outside government, adding that his contributions remain vital to the state’s progressive agenda.
He particularly highlighted the Commissioner’s role in the digitisation of land allocation and title documents, the opening of new Government Reservation Areas (GRAs), and the impressive growth in internally generated revenue recorded by the Ministry—achievements that have significantly enhanced land administration and urban development in Oyo State.

“As you mark another year today, I celebrate your achievements and pray for your continued success, sound health, and lasting legacy. Happy birthday, sir,” OTOPE added.
