Orisunmibare Residents Commend Oluyole Chairman, Engr. Akeem Olatunji, for Ongoing Road Construction
Residents of Orisunmibare community in Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State have commended the Chairman, Engineer Akeem Olatunji, for the ongoing construction of the road linking the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway to the community.

In a statement issued by the Orisunmibare Community Development Forum (OCDF) leadership on behalf of residents of Orisunmibare and adjoining communities, the group described the project as a long-awaited intervention and a reflection of the chairman’s commitment to grassroots development and inclusive governance.
According to the statement, the road project was a major concern to the people of the communities for years, affecting mobility, access to services, and economic activities.

“We are deeply appreciative of Engr. Akeem Olatunji’s visionary leadership and decisive action in opening up Orisunmibare to development,” the Forum stated.
The OCDF encouraged the council chairman to ensure the prompt completion of the next phase of the Orisunmibare Road Project once the first phase is finalised, expressing confidence that his administration’s focus on infrastructure renewal would continue to transform communities across Oluyole Local Government Area.

Reaffirming its trust in the local government chairman’s leadership, the Forum also acknowledged Engr. Olatunji’s earlier assurance that renovation and reactivation work on the Orisunmibare Primary Health Centre would commence before the end of 2025.
“We have full confidence in Engr. Olatunji’s leadership capacity and his alignment with the people-focused vision of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde.”
The Orisunmibare community remains hopeful that our Primary Health Centre will soon be restored to serve the growing population of our area,” the Forum added.
The statement further extended appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for his consistent support of grassroots governance and appealed for his continued assistance to the Oluyole Local Government administration in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Orisunmibare and the wider Oluyole constituency.
“We wish Engr. Akeem Olatunji continued success in all his endeavours and assure him of our community’s support and cooperation in advancing peace, development, and prosperity in Oluyole Local Government,” the statement concluded.
