The Executive Chairman Of Ona-ara Local Government Area Of Oyo State, Hon. Sanusi Musibau Adesina, Popularly Known As Shaba Has Bagged A Prestigious Award, Having Emerged As One Of The Best Performing Local Government Chairman In Nigeria.
The Merit Award entitled ‘Distinguished Local Government Chairman in Nigeria’, was presented to him, on Thursday, at the National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, by Rootswatch Magazine.
According to the Chief Editor of Rootswatch magazine and National Coordinator of the Distinguished Local Government Chairmen Merit Award, Chief Bayode Ojo, the award recognizes the outstanding accomplishment and contributions of Hon. Musibau Adesina Sanusi(SHABA) on meaningful developmental projects executed for the benefit of his people at the grassroots.
He noted that out of all the chairmen being unveiled for the conferment of the award, SHABA passed the litmus test of accountable leadership.
Hon. Sanusi dedicated the award to Almighty God, his principal, the executive governor of Oyo State, and His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, the PDP family in Ona-Ara LGA, and all the good people of the council.
While appreciating the leadership style of the Executive Governor of the Pace Setter State, Engr Oluseyi Makinde. Hon.Shaba stated that his only towing His Excellency’s path in making life more meaningful to the people of the state.
Hon. Sanusi used the opportunity to express his sincere appreciation to the executive council, legislatures, and management staff for their support so far and solicited continuous support and cooperation for the betterment of the Council.
The Council Boss however presented the distinguished award to the Deputy Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abiodun Fadeyi, Vice chairman of People’s Democratic Party, Oyo Central, Hon Mufutau Ogunremi, PDP Ona Ara Party Chairman, Hon Mosobalaje Bakare, Party Leader, Alhaj Waheed Adurodekun and the Chairman & CEO, Ilaji Hotel and Resorts, Engr. Dotun Sanusi. They all in unison commends the chairman, stating that his hard work and people-oriented projects and programs are indeed worthy. They however charge him not to relent in his efforts in bringing succor to the residents of Ona Ara.
It would be recalled that the council boss recently bagged OMOLUABI ROYAL ICON AWARD as AARE ATUNLUSE OMOLUABI OODUA AGBAYE under the umbrella of National Yoruba Council Of Youths Worldwide (YCYW )
