Nigeria @64: Hon. Michael Olusegun Aremu (MOA) Preaches Unity, Brotherhood on Independence Day
As Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Day, Hon. Michael Olusegun Aremu (M.O.A), a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former candidate for Oyo State House of Assembly Constituency 2, has emphasized the need for unity, brotherhood, and selflessness in overcoming the country’s current challenges.
“The present state of our nation’s plight shall pass if we come together and fight for one united Nigeria,” he stated.
MOA, who contested the last general election under the umbrella of the NNPP, also praised Governor Seyi Makinde’s efforts to alleviate economic hardship in Oyo State. “Governor Makinde’s strides in cushioning the effect of economic hardship on our people are truly commendable,” he said.
He specifically wished the residents of Ibadan North Local Government Constituency 2 a happy Independence Day celebration, urging them to remain hopeful and committed to Nigeria’s progress.
