A statement made available to newsmen on Monday by Rahmon Alawode indicated that the contestants who were graduates, undergraduates, and self-employed youths, were thrilled about Princess Abeo’s charitable deed and appreciated her humanitarian contributions to society, especially her market trader empowerment programs, which are visible to the blind in Oyo state.

Monumental Legacy

“Even though I had thought that I wouldn’t be taking anything home after a winner emerged, Princess Abeo, in her charitable ways of encouraging us, sprinkled surprise and watered us in the valley of hope,” one of the contestants remarked.

“She has not only made us smile but has also made us know that we are all winners and that no one is a loser. So, we are very grateful and we appreciate her kind gesture.”

On his part, the organizer of the event, Mayor Isaac Brown, however, commended Princess Abeo’s philanthropic gesture, describing her as the ‘most sourced female philanthropist’ in Oyo state.

While extending her appreciation to the organizer of the event, Princess Abeo encouraged the contestants to keep their beauty as a diamond for the usefulness of educating younger generations on gender equality.
