The Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Oyo State, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, has been honored with a meritorious award by the University of Ibadan. The award was presented to him in his office, recognizing his contributions to education, culture, and youth empowerment.
In his vote of thanks, Oyekunle expressed his gratitude for the honor and assured that his doors are always open to support the university and its students. He emphasized his commitment to empowering youths, promoting entertainment, and preserving culture, stating that he will always go the extra mile to provide support.
Oyekunle dedicated the award to his principal, Governor Seyi Makinde, for giving young people opportunities in his administration. The award was presented by a team of master’s students from the University of Ibadan, led by Class Governor Jawad Olayemi Olosunde, under the supervision of Professor S. A. Babarinde.
