Makinde’s DCoS, Oyekunle Mourns Engineer Sunday Makinde, Describes Demise as “Tremendous Loss”

The Deputy Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle (DoN), has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde over the demise of his elder brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.

In a statement made available by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Bodija Akinwale, Hon. Oyekunle described Engineer Makinde’s passing as a tremendous loss to the Makinde family and the entire state of Oyo.

He acknowledged the significant contributions Engineer Makinde made to the development of the state and nation, saying his legacy would never be forgotten.

Hon. Oyekunle prayed that God would grant the Makinde family, particularly Governor Makinde, the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. He also prayed for the repose of the soul of Engineer Sunday Makinde, asking God to grant him eternal rest.

The statement urged the people of Oyo State to join in mourning the departed Engineer Makinde, whose contributions to the state’s development would be greatly missed.
