The Deputy Chief of staff to the Oyo State Government has expressed deep sadness over the passing of retired Justice Beatrice Adesuwa Lawal.
In a condolence message personally signed by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, described Justice Lawal’s death as “sad and shocking.”
Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, said Justice Lawal’s contributions to the judiciary in Oyo State and Nigeria would be greatly missed.
“Her death creates a great vacuum in the judiciary and is an irreparable loss to her family and the state,” Oyekunle stated.
He praised Justice Lawal’s legacy as a mentor and coach to judicial officers, noting that her impact would be felt for years to come.
Oyekunle commiserated with Justice Lawal’s husband, Pa Bayo Lawal, and prayed for strength for her family.
“May Allah give her husband, children, and other family members the fortitude to bear the loss,” he said.
