“Makinde Has Again Rewarded Loyalty, Competence” — Reps Member Oyekunle Hails Fagbenro, Arowosaye Appointments

The member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, popularly known as DON, has congratulated the newly appointed Special Adviser on Security to the Governor of Oyo State, Mr. Abayomi Fagbenro, as well as the newly appointed Board Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company, Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, following their appointments by Governor ‘Seyi Makinde.

In a statement made available to journalists through his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Akinwale Bodija, the federal lawmaker described the appointments as deserving recognitions of commitment, loyalty, competence and years of impactful contributions to governance and public service in Oyo State.

Oyekunle noted that the appointment of Mr. Fagbenro as Security Adviser would further strengthen the security framework of the state, considering his vast experience, professional background and exposure in security administration.

According to the lawmaker, Governor Makinde’s decision reflects his continued determination to place capable individuals in strategic positions for the overall development and stability of the state.

Speaking on the appointment of Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi as Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company, Oyekunle described him as a seasoned grassroots politician and experienced administrator whose wealth of leadership experience would positively impact the growth of the state-owned company.

He added that both appointees possess the capacity and character required to deliver effectively in their new offices and contribute meaningfully to the progress of Oyo State.

“Governor Makinde has once again demonstrated that dedication, loyalty and competence will always be rewarded. I have no doubt that these appointments will further complement the developmental vision of this administration,” the statement read.
