LG POLL: Liquor, Beer Sellers Association Endorses Sheriff Adeojo For Second Term
The Association Of Beer, Wine, And Liquor Sellers in Ido local government has pledged their unalloyed loyalty to the reelection bid of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo.
The Association made the pledge during a solidarity visit to the chairman at the local government secretariat in preparation for the local government election.
The leader of the group Mrs Dupe Ogundoyin, who spoke on their behalf said the group embarked on the solidarity visit to give support to the heavenly-chosen candidate in the April 27 local government election.
She said it is only the blind that will feign ignorance of the numerous achievements of Hon. Sheriff Adeojo.
In his remark, the PDP party chairman in Ido local government, Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola advised the group to close the communication gap between their association with the chairman to draw benefits to their members.
Alhaji Akinsola implored the association not to entertain fear from the empty threat of the rejected politicians and to vote appropriately on election day for Sheriff Adeojo and all his councilors.
While appreciating the support being accorded to him by the association of beer and liquor sellers, the executive chairman, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo gave a whopping sum for their entertainment and advised them to register their association with the local government to have equal rights with other registered associations from the local government activities and programs.
He sensitized the beer sellers association to turn deaf ears to the rumors being peddled by the opposition parties that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde wants to concede some local government areas to the opponents.
