Oloye Kabiru Olajide, Baale of Aiyegun Oleyo, who led the G18 Baales to Olatunji’s private residence on Wednesday, October 25 said the former PDP Spokesman in Oyo state remains a pride of the local government and would not struggle to enjoy maximum political support and cooperation at the grassroots whenever needed.

He explained that the visit of the Baales to Olatunji’s private residence was a clear demonstration of open support for his candidature in the coming election and to fully identify with him as their political project in Oluyole while expressing appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde and the PDP leadership for Olatunji’s candidature.

In his remarks, Olatunji, who was overwhelmed by the show of support expressed gratitude to his guests while thanking Governor Seyi Makinde for the confidence reposed in him with the PDP chairmanship ticket assuring that, if elected, his administration would be a replica of the governor’s alall-inclusivend open-door policy that guarantee equitable distribution of the local government’s resources across the 10 wards in Oluyole.

“I must confess I’m short for words with this huge show of love and support for me and goGovernoreyi Makinde’s confidence in me and I assure you all that I will do my best to replicate GSM’s Sustainable Development Agenda at the grassroots for even spread of physical development as clearly evident at the state level.”, Olatunji assured the G18 Baales.

“You’re our leaders who have been there before and ahead of us, you’ve contributed immensely to the development of Oyo state and left legacies of impactful policies and programs that we that are behind you are working hard to sustain. All I can say is that if elected by God’s grace, it will surely be a government of the people of Oluyole, by the people of Oluyole, and, for the people of Oluyole.” Olatunji assured.

Meanwhile, Olatunji also noted that Governor Makinde’s political ally, Otunba Seye Famojuro has been a huge pillar of support and inspiration to his political journey and vowed to make him proud by also impacting lives at the grassroots positively.
