LG Election: Agidigbo FM Boss, Oriyomi Hamza Endorses Akeem Olatunji For Oluyole Chairmanship Seat
Ahead of the forthcoming local government election in Oyo state, the Founder and chairman of Agidigbo FM Radio, Dr Oriyomi Hamzat has declared support for the chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oluyole, Akeem Olatunji.
While declaring his endorsement of Olatunji for the chairmanship seat in the coming council poll, Dr Hamzat assured voters in Oluyole local government that the PDP candidate would deliver good governance at the grassroots level.
Dr Hamzat, who is known to be a long-time friend of the former publicity secretary of the PDP in Oyo state, described Olatunji as a replica of Governor Seyi Makinde, who would also perform well if elected.
Dr Hamzat, who appealed to voters in a recorded video at the Agidigbo FM office in Ibadan expressed confidence in the ability and capabilities of Olatunji’s leadership acumen.
In his words, Dr Hamzat who spoke in Yoruba language in the recorded video said: “My people in Oluyole local government, we’re about going into an election, I’m sure you’re getting ready.
“This is Engr Akeem Olatunji, who is here for the administration of Oluyole local government. He will do very, do well to vote for him. He is contesting on the platform of PDP, I thank you.”
Meanwhile, the Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) has disclosed that the coming local government poll across the 33 LGs will be held on April 27.
