Lagelu-PDP Holds Mega Meeting with Massive Turnout Signaling Party’s Total Domination in the LGA
In a thunderous display of grassroots muscle that left opponents scrambling for cover, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagelu Local Government Area unleashed an “epic and electrifying” party meeting Tuesday at the party’s powerhouse in Ejioku– the first blowout gathering since their local congress. Thousands of members and everyday Nigerians flooded the venue, proving once and for all that PDP isn’t just winning – it’s owning the terrain in the local government area.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as pure firepower: Party bigwigs, freshly minted executives getting their heroic welcome, elected officials, state-level heavy hitters, and a sea of supporters spilling out into the streets. No empty chairs, no quiet corners – just wall-to-wall energy symbolizing PDP’s iron grip on Lagelu. Sources close to the event say the general public showed up in droves, ditching rival camps to join the winning team.
The Chairman of Lagelu local government, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen in his remarks said he felt reassured that the masses are with the People’s Democratic Party, describing the political platform as “most populous party” in the area— going further in his statement, the council chairman said the party is locking in the momentum for total victory. “We’re not slowing down,” Kamorudeen declared. “This is the people’s party – fair, tough, and delivering results that the other side can only dream about.”
Some of the party heavy hitters among which were; Chief. Oribayo Okeyode; Chief Festus Alade; Elder Kehinde Fabunmi; Hon. Adetokunbo Adeaga; Chief. Benedict Akika; Chief. Mrs, Omowumi Ibitoye among others, commended the party members and the populace for their good and firm stand with the People’s Democratic Party—while maintaining that the only reward for all the hardworks of the PDP-led government both at state and local government level, should be a total electoral victory in the coming election year.
